I find Harry Connick Jr. really hilarious. Not really in an intentional way? I was a big, big fan of his around the time of Red Light, Blue Light and Star Turtle, where by big fan I mean I only really like two or three tracks, but I listened to them obsessively. Sort of the way I'm a fan of Michael Bublé now, so I suppose I should have seen that one coming.

Harry Connick Jr. has very blue eyes (and well, Sinatra), which reminds me, did anyone watch Conan O'Brien's thing on 60 minutes? Did anyone else think that his eyes were literally frighteningly blue in the part of the interview when he was wearing the blue shirt, and not so much in the rest of it?

Filed under things that should have occurred to me before - Harry had electronic sheet music at his piano. On the one hand, duh, yes, of course, and on the other hand, the part of me that was in band sort of wants to be all "uphill, both ways, in the snow," about having to wrestle with multiple pages of sheet music.

I still love Crystal Bowersox, and I sort of love that she said "its country week, I'm gonna do country" and that for Sinatra week, she did Sinatra, and she rocked them both, but I really want her to pick one thing for the next two (three?) weeks and do it. Even if Lee knocks it out of the park for every song for the rest of the season, and I do really like him, I'm going to be sad if he wins. Also, going to be sad if Mike wins, because I want to see him on Broadway, like, tomorrow. He can make an album later.

I'm excited for The Good Guys. Bradley Whitford! Whatisname (Colin?) Hanks! So excited. I expect that to last until about a week after the premiere, as is my habit.

And finally, it's totally karaoke and pale in comparison to their Across the Universe from last week, but Wes Taylor and Matt Doyle, still adorable.
