Maybe I read for a while? Seriously, I need to write down what I'm doing once an hour, like tracking expenses for a budget.

I went to my parents' for dinner, where my dad ruined the latest in a very long line of steaks, and then gave me his old ipod touch, so it balanced out okay. We actually had half an hour of conversation, my father and I, without my mother in the room, and that is vanishingly rare unless we're at the Y.

I definitely sat outside for a while on my new deck chairs, which are awesome, and comfortable. Maybe that's there I lost the time.

The problem with my inconsistent furnishings is that I only really care about the places I plan to spend time in, which leaves some very visible gaps. Since I haven't eaten a meal at a table in my own place since 2002 or so (even though I have had the same table for the past 8 years. Oh my god, I have owned that table for 8 years. I am so old.) I haven't bothered to replace the dining room chairs that I got rid of. So, I have awesome seating in the den, an entertainment center and coffee table I love. Great deck chairs. A bed in the guest room that I like very much, but I had that when I moved in. And that's pretty much it. And cat furniture.
I continue to be addicted to When I was 17. This week was Kevin Jonas, Bret Michaels, and Katherine McPhee. Next week? Travis McCoy, Kris Allen, and some chick who might be one of the Kardashians. I'm not sure. I'll just fast-forward through her parts.
Also, Eye Gazing ("You've heard of speed dating, now picture just that, but without having to make conversation. Eye gazing parties are intended to connect people through the gateway to their souls.") This is like my worst dating nightmare come to life. I am so bad at eye contact. So, so bad.
