healingmirthI wrote more stuff. I really, really hope I have purged my brain for the next 3 weeks, because I do, seriously, have other things I should be using it for.
I had this moment of thinking that I would someday stitch them together into a single story, but they're written in three somewhat disparate styles. I may put them up as 3 chapters in the same story on ff.net.

I have had way too much coffee. I am, I think, fonder of Shifting out of Neutral than I have been of anything else I've written, but that is it least partly because I can really hear myself in it, and that can go either way. I think this might be the most words I have ever written in a week, including weeks with term papers due.
ETA: I am also, even, suddenly, fond of the title, which was chosen nearly at random, decidedly after the writing of the story. There was a brief, crazy, moment when it was going to be called "I love it when a plan comes together" but I couldn't even make myself type that.
ETA, part 2: Trey? Is like a malevolent gerbil. That needs to be said.
