So, the lead-in to the Teen Wolf Revelations says "the cast reacts to the shocking season finale"


Oh, please.

Seriously, in the history of Shocking Finales, this is only shocking insofar as everyone is... pretty much okay. Which is awesome, don't get me wrong, I'm glad that we don't have some sort of post-Avengers situation. I think at the end of this season of NCIS, every single character was possibly dead.

So, things.
1) did anyone ever tell Allison that her mom was in the process of trying to kill Scott? Seriously.

2) was there any point in kidnapping Stiles? Other than... intimidating him? So that he... doesn't sprinkle mote mountain ash? I was really expecting him to stay held captive there, but then we wouldn't have had that great scene with his dad.

Also, really, Sheriff? It sucks that someone apparently got murdered on the field, but at least you played really well?

3) do we like Peter now? Because I sort of want Peter to be unhinged, like... why can't I remember Spike's vamp girlfriend's name? I need to rewatch last seasons bits because there's a fair amount of what I imagine is bleak, twisty Peter fic, but that may change going forward?

4) Ambulance chick, wtf? I thought she was going to turn out to be a hunter. Or something.

5) Am really confused how Boyd and Erica ended up stumbling in the woods again. Seriously, Beacon Hills is just one long road that runs along that nature preserve, isn't it?


and most importantly:

6) Daniel Sharman (Isaac) is my new favorite. Well, second favorite maybe.

Your point #2 is my biggest confusion. I'm still trying to figure out what the point of kidnapping and beating up Stiles was. I thought Gerard did everything for a reason, or was it just for the cliffhanger in the previous episode? It didn't come into play at all.

For #1, there's so many dropped balls with Allison this one gets muddled up in it. They better have Allison's seeing Boyd and Erica again next season and reacting accordingly, is all I'm saying.

I'm also kinda disappointed there's no explanation about what Lydia was doing wandering around in the woods at the beginning of the season. I guess it can be handwaved as having to do with Peter's resurrection plan, but I still to know about that black hole, dammit.

Wait, wait, I just had a thought and now I need to rewatch. Maybe Stiles somehow gave up the warehouse location that he had no reason to know at that point in the episode?

Because Gerald said that Erica and Boyd wouldn't give Derek up, hence Stiles.

La, la, inconsistency. They needed to make four episodes out of the last three. There's some vitally important stuff missing or skimmed over there.

That makes sense! What threw me was the line Stiles said to Lydia about his bruises (paraphrased): "You think these were supposed to hurt me?" So I thought that the beating was done where visible to emotionally target someone.

Though like you pointed out, I can't think why Stiles would have any reason to know about that warehouse since Scott didn't even know that they'd have to bring Jackson there for Derek until after Gerard let Stiles go home AND I'M SORRY THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME.

Yeah, I like* the let's harm Stiles to manipulate other people storyline, but I can't make any sense of it. That's what the time between seasons is for, I guess, so that we can fix their canon for them.

Er, maybe the bruises were supposed to hurt Scott? Which makes even less sense as a motivator, except in the overkill and promised lacrosse carnage sense. Gerard says "Scott McCall finds his best friend bloody and beaten to a pulp" but I think that bit was just a retort to Stiles saying Scott would find him.

Also, the Argents' basement is pretty nicely decorated, for the home of Target practice and werewolf torture.
