We had sort of a running gag at work yesterday about misinterpreting words - homonyms, mostly, but some contextual things too. Mostly harmless. The first e-mail I read in the office this morning said "the official '[Podcast] Show Sub' " and for some reason my brain went right to submissive, rather than substitute. Awkward.
