someone write this so I don't have to

I read a "woke up married" fic this morning, one of the ones where it's friends suddenly married, rather than strangers, and now I very much want to read a woke up married story where the marriage is the central issue, not the (lack of-) relationship. Like, characters A and B have been together forever, sort of intend to be together forever, maybe planned to get married someday, but [whatever happens] and it turns out that suddenly being legally tied together is a (unexpectedly) huge problem for one or both of the previously-happy characters.

Also, it's sort of fall-like outside today. Leaves have been turning for maybe a week or two, but it's a really ugly fall so far. A little half-hearted, and it's either green or brown, without the intermediate stages.

I had the windows open yesterday, because I pretty much always do if I can get away with it, and I realized around midafternoon that the reason the air smelled so sweet was because they came and mowed the fields on the outlying property the day before.

I need a new fall icon. I don't really like any of half-assed attempts I made last year. Maybe I'll take some pictures today.
