Jul. 11th, 2010 08:02 pmI don't know if I mentioned that my phone was stolen my first day out of town. I think I did. I got a new one last week, an HTC Aria (android on AT&T) because continuing my AT&T service means that I'm grandfathered in with my old unlimited data plan. Which I am telling you because obviously you really care about details like that.
In the past few days, I have taught fun words to the dictionary, like fandom and meme and Dreamwidth. (LiveJournal it already knew...) Also WTF, WTH and Noooooo (for which its auto-correct suggestion was "nipples")
There's a carnival a quarter-mile from my house this weekend. It's finally cool enough out to have the windows open instead of the a/c on, but that also means I've been serenaded with the distant sounds of children's screams all weekend. I presume these have all been happy screams due to the relative, although not complete, lack of sirens.
I miss being young enough to go on the tilt-a-whirl with my friends. I really must endeavor to be in a going-on-dates mode next summer when the fair comes to town.

severalplums. I encourage you to enter, mostly because I am uninspired, and unlikely to be threatened by your awesomeness. But I love that picture, so much.
Mattress being delivered tomorrow! That means that tonight's housecleaning will be focused on clearing space, but notsomuch on vacuuming because I'll just want to do it again tomorrow. Also, perhaps finding bed frame, as actual bed will not be delivered for a week. I could have timed this better?
