This Last week in "When I was 17...": Jackson Rathbone. I have not seen the Twilight movies, but apparently he appears in a horrible blond wig, apparently as a vampire. Anyway, does he remind anyone else of Jensen Ackles? Or possibly a sociopath? I don't think it's just the Texas thing...

Something that made me smile yesterday: A Crate and Barrel delivery truck pulled off on the side of the road, so the guys could head across the street to some kid's lemonade stand.

Close to twelve. Really? Is it schadenfreude when I find humor in people whose speech needs copy-editing?

Speaking of Deadliest Catch, the porn battle is open, and when I was browsing the prompts comments a few days ago, I saw Edgar Hansen/Mike Rowe. Oh my God, you guys. I couldn't write it unless someone had a gun to my head (and I am unlikely to find a violent criminal who will require me to write porn...) I'm not sure if I could read it if someone else wrote it. But in a purely shallow sense of two favorite people? OMG do want.

And speaking of the porn battle, or possibly kiss bingo, if I manage to finish a thousand words or so of American Idiot Tunny/Will, anyone want to beta it? Actual knowledge of the musical not required.

I have listened to a lot of Eminem today

Sometimes I wish I could rewind the radio. I mean, I don't see any reason why I couldn't have, like, a thing that does. I'm sure someone has created and/or coded one. I've spent all day listening, more or less, to pop radio, but I don't think I've learned any song titles or artists because I fail at listening to the talking parts. And the station's website sort of makes my eyes bleed. Also, I don't care all that much.

Is there a TV show that everyone around you watches that you really don't get or like? If so, what is it? To what do you ascribe the odd fascination?

I can't say whether or not I'm excited for Fast Five, but I enjoy actiony movies with cars, and it will certainly be that. These pictures, though: here be casting spoilers. OMG Y'all, those pictures. Badass, badass, badass... hey, who's that goofy kid in the corner? One of these things is not like the others, is what I'm saying. Bless him.

It seems like there is rather a lot of Lady Gaga RPF already over in Porn Battle-land. Is this, like, a thing, or is it just battle randomness?
