Okay news, less okay news.
Oct. 30th, 2012 02:01 pmOnce again, a hurricane came through and I didn't lose power at my house. Once again, there was a stiff breeze and power will be out at work for several days.
I drove underneath a for real giant tree (trunk was nearly 2 feet in diameter) down across the road and resting gently on power lines, so I think I'll be staying in for a bit longer yet.
On an unrelated note, the facebookification (or twittification, I guess) of livejournal continues: http://lj-releases.livejournal.com/79480.html
Is forging the cut tag really an issue?
I don't do a good job of reading news posts, but I'm fuzzy on the repost thinger. I know it, or something like it, has been around for a while
I enjoy the idea of the infinite scroll, in theory, but I'm pretty sure it'll kill browsing on my phone. I can't even get twitter to load on my phone.

- Dynamic loading of earlier entries (infinite scroll).
- When new content is posted to your friends feed, a "New (#)" tab will appear which will take you to the top of the page when pressed and load the new content.
- Only one repost of any entry will appear even if multiple friends have reposted it, and it will be clear who reposted the entry.
- The lj-cut placeholder has changed to display a pair of scissors, making it more difficult to forge.
