I hate when there are bands on The Daily Show.
Anyway, moving on.
There was a Monkey See blog post a couple years ago that's stuck with me, and the gist was that you can make Good TV or Bad TV or whatever, but it's sad when you feel like the show runners don't care.
I liked SHIELD (and I'm not saying that Joss et al don't care, but it's possible that having a whooooole lot of irons in the fire can suck some of the passion out of the execution) and I'm sure it'll be solid and probably get better as they get into it. After two episodes of Sleepy Hollow, I'm just constantly struck by how it feels like they're swinging for the fences.
( Although... )
My overwhelming preference is for slow zombies and non-jumping spiders, and I am pretty sure from the previews that Sleepy Hollow will give me nightmares at some point, but I remain excited.
That commercial for the new American Horror Story, though? Fuck that. Just no.
