Mar. 22nd, 2015 08:09 pmI started trying to analyze why I don't watch family sitcoms (or family dramas) after a random thought a few days ago. This vague attempt brought to you by the fact that I love Brooklyn 99, loved The Office for a while. Could not care less about Modern Family. This falls apart exceedingly quickly, mostly for lack of data. I'm not magnetically drawn to comedies in general, and I have never watched Parks and Rec or Community. And I loved Enlisted, which was at least nominally about the brothers.
The point being, I don't have a drama type family - I'm an only child, my parents' siblings are scattered all over the place. It's just not relevant or interesting to my life the way workplace shows are.
I don't know why, but now that Ryan Kesler is on the Ducks, I suddenly want to read All The Fic. I'm pretty sure I read all the Kesler/Ladd back when I had no idea who either of them were, back in my early Keith/Seabrook phase, but I might need to go back.
Huh, I didn't know it's actually against the rules to play the puck with a broken stick. #themoreyouknow
