healingmirthGood news: am moved, have my entire security deposit back. Have spent lots of quality time with my cat, who is precious and hilarious, and so hideously spoiled.
"Bad" news: am still only on the internet via my phone's data plan. I just "caught up" on two weeks of DW reading page. Two weeks ago was also the last time I was caught up on my LJ Support filter, when I thought I would be back to the internet in short order. I don't know the last time I looked at my full LJ Friends page. January 7th or so? So whatever I've missed. Sorry.
I caught up with some stuff on DVD and/or that I'd recorded or downloaded before New Years. Listed here mostly for my own reference so that I remember to come back and say something later: Alice, Bandslam, MI5 series 1-3, Primeval season 1+ a few episodes, Leverage, Bernard and Doris, Flashpoint Season 1,The Daily show episodes that I missed the end of last year. Uh. Other stuff probably. Rewatch of Generation Kill and the BBC Pride and Prejudice miniseries.
Other stuff:
The sherlock holmes big bang includes The Great Mouse Detective as a fandom: awesome, or potentially childhood-ruining?
There's a Colonial Williamsburg commercial that I only caught a few seconds of, but it appeared to feature a thirtysomething black couple visiting. No kids. That is in no way representative of any experience I've ever had there.
I have plot-bunnied myself with Generation Kill fic where the men of Bravo 2 are a guild in a fantasy MMORPG. It is the most niche AU ever, and it would include formatted text in funny colors, though the colors would be less necessary and more for my own nostalgia/amusement.
Uh. Internet hooked up a week from tomorrow, so something more substantive then, such as feedback on fic or meta I haven't yet read, and hopefully my return to Support.
