some things that made me happy recently

(ETA totally forgot wordcounts, and don't actually know, but they're all in the 20k/2-3 LJ entries range.)

sam_storyteller Never Leave a Trace White Collar, El/Neal/Peter and some awesome OCs. I think the term is probably magical realism, but I'd file it more under mysticism because 1) Halloween, All Saints, and Whatnot and 2) magic + fandom will always make me thing of Harry Potter, and this is so not Harry Potter.

gyzym I've Got Nothing To Do Today But Smile (The Only Living Boy in New York) Inception, Arthur/Eames, Ariadne/Yusuf, Coffeeshop AU and it is the most rom-com premise in all the world, but it made me so, so happy to read when I got to it today. The words, they sparkle.

beyond_belief and my glory shall be love Generation Kill, Brad/Nate and the rest of the usual suspects, Marine Sgt. Colbert on special assignment to guard Vice President Fick, AU. Speaking as someone who doesn't really know a lot about daily political life in Washington DC, but who lives in the US and watched a lot of The West Wing, etc. I really adore the level of little detail included in this story.

Now would also be a good time to mention that I almost always click the rec tickybox when I read something I like on AO3, far more often than I remember to bookmark in delicious. There isn't much there yet, but in case of intense boredom... or the urge to be reminded of things that you've already read, they can be found here.
