So, uh, Bronson...
Sep. 4th, 2010 10:57 pmHave any of you guys seen this? It's streaming on Netflix, for those of you who are netflix people. Since I live in the US, and also under a rock, I do not know the first thing about the actual guy, but the character is absolutely fascinating.
I can't say that I know many people to whom I would personally recommend the film, since it is violent, and bloody and some more violent and some more bloody, and then also naked? But if you're willing to sign on to that, dude. It is mesmerizing stuff, really. It'd sort of have to be, because why bother making an uninspired movie about a boring criminal? But really, the concept, the cinematography, the acting (and not just Tom Hardy). A+.
After an hour and a half of watching him play violent and unstable, I am almost sold on watching Wuthering Heights, but to be honest, I never had to read the book, I have never wanted to read the book, and only knowing the vaguest outline of the plot, I'm not feeling it. Actually, I'm not sure I ever read Jane Eyre, either. I think I had to read Rebecca and promptly decided I was never coming within ten yards of Gothic ever again.
But I digress. Bronson. Wow.
