If I was still living in South Georgia, I bet I could find some good opinions about Civil War Reenactments in the UK and then mark them up for bonus insensitivity/cultural appropriation irony.
Someone I think I should know, but don't remember (he's Facebook friends with a few people who I'm friends with) is going on a cross-country dating extravaganza to meet the man of his dreams. In addition to the fact that he has an impressive number of one-arm self portraits from his travels, I assume that he is also wicked-smart, and worlds more well-adjusted than most of the rest of the people who went to our school.
Actually, on second thought, I think the logical conclusion is that he's a raging egomaniac, but I hope not. So, if you've got a gay male friend in the continental US who wants to plan a date to woo someone, The Bachelor style minus the cameras, there's still time to propose. Yes, he's calling them proposals.
