I looked at two separate challenges for Veronica Mars fic today, and both of the challenge posts left me so overwhelmed that I just shut my computer and went back to watching Top Gear. I understand the impulse to give examples and provide options, I really do. But why are there so many words? Why???
One of the inception_kink prompts for this round was "Cathedrals" by Jump Little Children. I realized that I'd never heard the original version, but I knew it from somewhere and after 20 minutes or so of tearing through YouTube using a variety of useless search terms and my faulty memory,
