I hate it when the dog dies

Doesn't matter if it's movie, tv, book, magazine article, tv commercial (although I can't think of a reason why you'd put a dying animal in a commercial...). I hate it. You could introduce the pet of a tertiary character and have it get hit by a bus 20 seconds later, and it would still bring me to tears. I should start a list of things I'd like a professional opinion about if I ever start going to therapy.
