I tried to go to the bookstore, too, but I simply don't trust profic authors, and what I want is something novella+ length with a happy ending and a minimum of fail in the middle. I suppose I will have to start trawling year-end fic exchanges, because I feel like I've read all the big bangs. Maybe I need to go hit up delicious for new fandoms.
