I feel like I need a fic index.
Dec. 27th, 2008 12:51 pmThat's what mature, writerly people do, yeah? Have indexes? Also, should probably repost things to my journal so they're not scattered all over the place outside my control. That sounds like a New Year's project.
Title: A Better Winter Holiday
Author:
healingmirth
Pairing/Characters: John McClane/Matt Farrell
Rating: R (for language and sexual content, because I will argue that it is tasteful and appropriate!)
Summary: John employs a grand holiday tradition for the wrong reasons, but gets the right results. (You say “clichéd premise,” I say “cherished cultural icon!”)
Notes/Warnings: 5200 words. What with the massive travel delays, and the limping economy and whatnot, the week leading up to Christmas was something of a disaster, so I am officially calling a do-over on holiday cheer and am celebrating the 12 days of Christmas. I thought, "Hey, I will write holiday fluff!" Next time I decide to write fluff, I need a shorter idea. Or maybe I should have taken Tim Gunn’s advice about using my editing eye.
