Speaking of which, the point of this entry.

So, my phone's web browser just ate all its bookmarks.

I synced it to my computer... a while ago? And I started using the pinboard app a couple days ago when I finally bought an account, and I moved a lot of unread shit over there, but for a looong time now, my standard practice has been to bookmark fic to my phone to read later, and now I don't know what I'm missing *sniffle*. Mostly this will involve going back through the last week of Teen Wolf fic on AO3, and of course I was just using the "bookmark link" option instead of opening the page and then bookmarking it, so the missing things won't show up in my reading history.

*shakes fist* damn you, technology and my inability to take advantage of redundancies.

Ha, yeah, that's about right.

I'm feeling slightly less tragic now that I've found the thumbnail image files, but I know a big chunk of the bookmarks had no thumbnail, and the image selections are hilariously inconsistent (Oh, okay, its an m/m story on AO3 in the Avengers fandom. Thanks for narrowing that down!)

I was thinking you could just go back through and find them again. Then I remember how much goddamn fic both those fandoms are producing right now.

That is also an excellent choice! I haven't gone through my icons or looked for new ones in aaaaaages.

I'm sure in a few days I'll have mostly forgotten about the bookmarks (and my insufficient icons) and on the bright (?) side, I don't have to spend time transfering the rest of my phone bookmarks to pinboard now.
