The more time I spend thinking about the Teen Wolf season finale, the angrier I get. I'm still not actually angry, but it was going so well, and should not have been allowed to go off the rails with sloppy writing.
There are a lot of "exclusive interviews" with Jeff Davis about the end of the season out there on the interwebs, and in one of them, he's all:
1) Fast is not good.
2) Shouldn't fast give someone - you, whoever - a *little* more time afterwards to say, "uh, dude, this part doesn't actually make any sense" and actually fix your plot?
So, the kanima goes into his cocoon, from which he's supposed to transform into terrifying flying thing. But instead, he just cocoons and heals back to "normal"? Also, why did anyone think he was really dead to begin with? Does the kanima for some reason not have the werewolf regeneration?
Right, moving on. So post-cocoon, he's not the terrifying winged thing yet, but apparently he's also not still a walking, swishing paralytic agent anymore? Cause Derek really doesn't seem all that paralyzed. I think he's just trying to hold his insides in.
Jackson being impaled on his own claws didn't work to permanently kill him, but being impaled on Derek's and Peter's was supposed to? What's with the lack of chopping his body in half, Derek?
I find it hard to believe that Stiles manages to sleep on that twin bed without falling off, constantly. That's why we put beds next to walls, people. Also, why were you in your mope injured-cheek down on the pillow. Really?
Ugh. Seriously.

This show specifically is very much my voice, I just decided this year I was going to tackle most of the last episodes myself. Part of it is speed. I write these drafts really fast and I don’t know. I’m a writer. I like to write. I’ll blame being prolific on it, but it’s true. Most showrunners don’t do so many drafts. Maybe that’s because ‘m crazy.
