Okay, I'll admit it, I watched the episode, right up to the last minute, thinking, "wow, I can't believe they wasted their second-to-last episode on a self-indulgent AU." I mean, I enjoyed watching it, and I'm sure they had fun getting to make something with such a different style to it, and it was neat to have a soundtrack, even if it was a bit...obvious. In the end, I'm okay with them doing a pseudo-two-part finale, but I'm not sure whether I feel cheated - this seems like a way to fast-forward to the end of the wraith/Earth arc, even though it only would have taken a single episode in the canon universe, too...

So, Finale. Boo-hoo? I really don't enjoy watching this show, actually, so it's sort of a relief that it's over and I can get back to reading the vastly-superior fic. (Now with New and Improved closed canon!)

Erm. Whatever. I'm just glad Todd was there. I am such a fan of Todd that it is not even funny. Also, while I am not wholly opposed to McKay/Keller, wow, was that the most awkward interaction ever. It needed another line or something to sell it as either schmoop or snark.

HOWEVER! I might have to write (or just send hopeful thoughts towards, because I am lazy) some Ronon/Amelia, which had completely not occurred to be even though she kicks ass. Also? Fic about the exposure of the Stargate program, because seriously? I thought they couldn't work the cloak and the shield at once, and there is no freaking way that people didn't see the city before they could disengage the shield.
