healingmirth: RayK and Fraser, frozen (frozen)
I am having a very spammity day.

For reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, I am in a horrible mood.

So here, have a heartwarming plea for help from an anthropomorphized koala bear, asking for help for his habitat.

Pan Da Koala needs your help - via Facebook

His status update yesterday:

Pan Da Koala is having the best day ever….. I had a meeting with some council big wigs today, I was so nervous :-(…….I told them I was upset about losing my trees so they said I might be able to have one new tree planted for every new fan over 10,000 I can get until the end of June. Can everyone who is my fan please tell their friends to be my fan too? Can you imagine if I get 20,000 fans? That would be 10,000 more trees for us!

healingmirth: tabby kitten, "The Original Laughing Cat" (mirth)
So, I went to see Wolverine today, finally. Really glad I saved that $2 by going to a matinee

I'd have a cut tag here for spoilers, but I don't have anything to say about it. Hot guys, fight scenes, some stuff blew up.

And American Idol
(five sentences of spoilers), if you insist on finding out when you watch it yourself )

I've had Ikea by Johnathan Coulton stuck in my head all day. (you can listen to it here, on his website. or watch it on youtube

Long ago in days of yore/
It all began with a god named Thor/
There were vikings and boats/
and some plans for a furniture store

and I totally have this image of Peter Parker wandering around singing it in the wake of that Thor fiasco, and not realizing how horrendously tactless he's being, because it's one of those things where you just sing the words to the song without really thinking.

I like clever commercials. This isn't so much clever as... I don't know. It's not witty, but is perhaps still clever.
