There are things I ought to do on the computer (none of which involve income or the potential for income - that is a whole separate list) that I think would benefit from not being connected to the internet, and from working in an environment that does not contain my cat. The problem is, I don't have such a place up here. Suburbs. Hrmph. I need to go find a library or something.

You ever have one of those days where you decide you hate present tense, and go and revise 10,000 words into past tense, and then you run into a paragraph that stubbornly refuses to be tense-changed or otherwise reworded, and maybe present tense isn't so bad after all, and you still have the original version, but you changed other things too, and you really don't want to fix it all, even with the handy-dandy revision history? Okay, maybe not a day precisely like that, but you know...

I sort of want to chuck it all and go write that comic-ignoring post-movie Remy/Logan porn that I only have the opening sentence of.
