healingmirth: deadpool, bemused, missing a chunk of his head (deadpool)
I just copied all the various and sundry draft entries I had open in tabs (on two different computers) into one google doc to try to sort through them. There's a fair bit of overlap in the text and a lot of overlap in subject matter, because a couple times I opened the update page in a new tab and added something on to the legitimate saved draft, but... including the note that I just spent an hour pecking out on the train? Googledocs says its 4400 words long.

I'm going to assume hope that a fair amount of it is trash that I needn't inflict on anyone, but I do so love to hear myself talk, so maybe not.

So! The following are headed this way (under some heavy-duty cut tags) or towards the recycle bin in the near future:

More about American Idiot (new thoughts from me!)
More about American Idiot (new thoughts/performances/interviews from others!)
I tell you about my day, why it was awesome, and how yes, I know I'm spoiled, but I'm not sure quite what to do about it.
I try to figure out why Disney movies I haven't seen since their theater release in the 80s are haunting me.
And various and sundry LJ-sorts-of-things.

Having listed that out, I find it hard to believe that anyone is going to want to see even more words from my keyboard in the next couple days. I am also slightly too lazy to go find the text of the 3W4DW ask me things meme to paste here. But nonetheless, this is me offering to answer and/or ramble about things, should there be people wanting to ask them. (and if you are really shy, or have the urge to ask something that strikes you as bizarre, anonymous comments are on and screened)

Instead, a PSA of sorta, maybe? I discovered (to my embarrassment and annoyance - I sort of owe someone a few months of comments...) that one journal and several communities that I've subscribed to were missing from my Default view filter. I discovered this because I was looking for something on my reading page using the Journals only filter, and lo and behold! There were all these entries that I'd never seen before.

I can't remember how I subscribed to any of them in the first place, so it might have been me just not clicking through to the end, or it might have been some early hover-menu laziness. I don't even remember setting up the filter here, even though I manage my Default filter on LJ pretty actively. Blargh

It might be worth a click over to [http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/subscriptions/filters], just in case.
