healingmirth: Timothy Olyphant as Raylon Givens from Justified (justified)
Tim Olyphant and company: Still kickass. I? Still need a better icon, like say that time with the shirt off and the jeans and the good god y'all, but have not gotten my act together to move episodes from the DVR to my computer so I can cap. My life is so hard, for true.

I will be very sad if/when they run out of Harlan storylines. Also, have been ambiguous about sniper dude whose name I am too lazy to look up right now, but after last night's episode, I now desperately want him to have an awesome, possibly long-distance, offscreen boyfriend. Or for someone to write a completely improbably rentboy backstory. Just sayin'. I'd totally nominate Lorne for the boyfriend, but I try to forget he's in the air force, which would be harder with a ranger in the picture. Suggestions! Colby Granger? Who does former sniper dude want to send long bitchy emails to?

I have not yet listened to this Fresh Air interview with Walter Goggins (Boyd Crowder) but from reading the excerpt, I have to wonder if he's always slightly Method, or if there's some reason that he picked this guy to start doing questionable things in public.
SGU suddenly discovered plots I care about, just in time for the finale, wherein they will invariably return to plots I couldn't care less about.
I suspect there are a number of people who have not read a passage that sings, yet, because it was just posted yesterday. That needs to change. You should go read it.
summary: The one where Chris has stupid glasses and a lot of paperbacks, Zach knows too much for his own good, there are at least two lap dances, and everybody wants to sleep with Dorothy Parker. "Quinto Mad Libs," Cho says. "My date was: mean adjective, meaner adjective, devastating five-syllable mean adjective."

If you enjoy smart people who use words, and who in the process of using those words completely fail to communicate about their actual selves, or, y'know, feelings, you will enjoy this. It is *hilarious* but totally in the banter way, not at all in the crack-fic way. Also, even though it's totally RL-based, I don't think it depends at all on you knowing anything about either the RL or fanon characterizations of anyone involved. [livejournal.com profile] dorkorific does a fabulous job of establishing their characters within the fic.
Tim Curry's on Criminal Minds tonight, and I want to watch it, even though I have watched maybe 4 episodes at random, ever. Advise me, internet. Is there a Big Season Mystery that will leave me hopelessly lost and/or spoiled if I tune in tonight without having watched the season? I'm not sure I care.

Also, Nick Jonas is on Minute to Win It tonight at 9, and even though I'm sure it will be 85% less awesome than Kevin Jonas's performance, I may have to watch anyway.
