here be whining, but on dreamwidth, you don't even have to load a new page to read it )

In happier news, season 4 of Oz is firmly back in the land of compelling television for me. I'm slightly confused as to why this season suddenly has twice as many episodes as the rest of them, but that means they have all sorts of time to develop whatever it is they're building to, so I am totally okay with it.
I have great hopes of buying a mattress and barstools and china and going to the farmers market tomorrow, and then playing volleyball tomorrow night, and then not being a complete mess when my friends come to visit this weekend. Maybe.

I have been frighteningly productive today. In addition to all the things I planned to do (bedding, plates...other things I can't remember at the moment) I now also know, for the first time in probably six years, precisely what the terms of my checking account are. Next up! Concerted effort at finding an Android phone I can live with.

The strawberries from the farmers' market are not fantastic, but the first half did a good job cutting the richness of the leftover ganache cake in the fridge, and the second half will be more than adequate on my cereal tomorrow morning.

I miss when Sammy was small enough that he didn't mash all the buttons when he sprawled over my keyboard )

I am dogsitting, and my dad buys lots of DVDs, so I browse from his collection when I'm here. I discovered today that he owns two copies - two identical copies - of Deja Vu.
