ETA: also, this has been bugging me. Did someone write a story (RPF, I presume) where one of the characters has an irrational fear of Zooey Deschanel? Or did I imagine that?

today was a really excellent day for mail

... which includes several things that came in the mail a long time ago, but I just finally got to appreciating.

I have a job interview of sorts tomorrow. Like, a backwards job interview, where this guy keeps trying to hire me, and he keeps basically offering me jobs I don't want, so we're going to meet tomorrow and figure out if there's something that he needs done that I'd actually be interested in. It would be nice to have consistent work again, and coworkers, instead of whatever I can scrounge up.

And you know what else makes me happy? New pictures of Alexander Skarsgard with short hair. I am terrified that Battleship is going to be the worst movie in the history of bad movies, and I will watch it five times anyway.

I have just discovered that 21 Jump Street is streaming on Netflix. I don't know when I started watching it, but I've definitely never seen the pilot before. At 21:43, Johnny Depp has just been revealed to be the type of sensitive soul who plays the sax. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take, even for Peter DeLuise.
