Teen Wolf, belatedly
Aug. 28th, 2015 10:30 amSo, in the preview for this season of Teen Wolf, Deaton says, "I'm starting to wonder if the rules to our supernatural world aren't as rigid as I once thought. Or maybe someone's trying to change those rules."
Yes. Yup. His name is Jeff Davis, right? We all get that by this point? Which is why it took me like two months to get around to starting the season.
I half wanted to go on a rant about the value of doing creative work within constraints, but whatever. You do you. Change the rules whenever you get bored. That's cool.
And whatever the deal is with the Mystery Antagonists this season, am I the only one who just constantly thinks he's ripping off Doctor Who when they show up onscreen?
I am so here for Lydia/Parrish, though, omg.
And Stiles doesn't know what "regression to the mean" means? Really. Also chimera is a totally new concept. Right.
And why is... Yeah, no. I'm just going to stop expecting his narrative choices to make sense to me.
