healingmirthI finally watched the rest of Vikings and I am unimpressed. As I said to someone at work this week, I honestly can't tell whether I don't like and am confused by the actual show, or if I'm being frustrated by bad acting (/accents) and sloppy writing.
Like, Someone please explain to me how Ragnar is a cunning tactitian or power hungry, or interesting and fallible instead of FRUSTRATING and also STUPID. Like, I want to look at his failed (?) attempt to sacrifice Athelstan as evidence of something, but it takes more brain than I'm willing to invest in a show that I wish had gone a totally different direction from episode 3 or so.
I would also like to believe that he's obsessed with creating a legacy, or just being lead around by his dick. Not one or the other alternating by the minute.
Uh, Teen Wolf comes back in a few weeks? At least I care enough to fix that when it inevitably gets ruined. /grumpy

Summer movie season, hooray? Maybe I can go see a movie or two this weekend in the lulls between hockey playoffs.
