Game 2 of Pens/Bruins
Teen Wolf !?!
My *mumblety* WoW character and the stupid weekly valor cap. Well played, Blizzard, capping valor and offering a bonus to the remaining characters. And I now have four LFR-capable characters with less than best-in-slot gear, and there aren't enough hours in the week for any definition of "finish" in that raiding scenario. It makes me miss raiding in a real guild with one main, but I know that doesn't lead to less WoW.
I've lost you all now, haven't I?
And this stupid story that I've been working on super intermittently for over a year, that really needs to be done already.

I got this notification at almost the same time as a text message from a friend married to a Pens fan, so I was anxiously waiting to see how bad the end of the first period was. But surely it'd get better, right?
I am not usually one for talking at the tv, but I literally yelled "Oh my God, are you a Peewee team?" during their clusterfuck of a powerplay in the 2nd. Amidst lots of swearing and my usual chorus of "Fleury, stay in the net. Fleury, stay in the net."
Welcome to hockey. UGH.
I have no idea how anyone not in North (or South, I guess) America manages to watch NHL hockey without it ruining their lives, so I salute your effort!

The Thing to do, I suppose, is to try to blow one toon through as many raids as possible on Tiesday or Wednesday, and then to whatever you'd normally do the rest of the week. (Though the Darkspear Rebellion + bonus = DAMN DELICIOUS).
It wasn't so bad in 5.2 when the upgrade ethereals were gone, but now it's like *flog flog flog*
