Wow, this flirty play fight with Allison is really not working for me. Does no one remember the torturing from last season? I thought we were believing that Scott isn't dumb. Isaac and Boyd remember. Scott's not allowed to be wary? Sigh.

I think my current preference is to take the script and mentally re-act any scene that isn't Lydia, Stiles or Peter. Maybe Boyd gets a pass, too. Isaac keeps ricocheting from woobie to psychopath, but not in any way that I can relate to adolescence. I like the plot! The plot can keep happening!

Also, Allison's haircut is ruining any illusion of high school for me.

Oh, belatedly, I loved Lydia's reaction to the alpha twins last week, and that she's still hooking up with Aiden. I buy that from her much more than I buy anything from Scott.

Did the Argents not own that house last season? I know they changed shooting locations, but that weapons lockup in the garage didn't look temporary. And now they're living in an apartment? Hotel?

This flashbacky nonlinear shit is not working for me.

Clearly Derek and Jennifer are going to be the thing for this season. And I love Hoechlin, I do, and good for him getting his romcom moment or whatever, but again, CONTINUITY. The scene where he kicked Isaac out is almost the only failwolf moment we've seen, and as a viewer, I feel cheated out of his journey from self-sacrificing massive fuckup to mildly competent planner. I can't help but think that he and Fragile Teacher are going to heal each other with the power of lurve, and then she's going to get fridged.
Sigh.
