For reasons that don't need to be explored at this juncture, I have been watching All the TV this week, but because I mistakenly watched the first episode of Inspector Lewis before catching up on Teen Wolf or... what else do I have on my DVR? Sinbad, Under the Dome, reruns of this past season of NCIS. Anyway, yeah, haven't watched any of that other stuff.

I did keep up with The Daily Show, because I don't typically have to be looking at the screen, so that's a good time to sort junk mail and flip through catalogs or wander in and out of the kitchen. Also, Project Runway because I had a lot of coffee midafternoon and was still pretty much wide awake Thursday night.

Here's a weird coincidence, or maybe a weird decision on the part of two supposedly independent shows which are definitely on two different networks now. Both Project Runway and Top Chef Masters return for their latest season with an episode about skydiving.

Anyway, Lewis. OMG, you guys. I'm on season...five? I think im going to wait until I watch the rest of the episodes before reading anything, and I don't know, y'all. I'm not sure if I even want to read the fic. I'm not sure I ship it, though I can see how it's shippable. And it's not like Teen Wolf, where there's an insufficient handful of winning elements that I want fandom to run away and do a better job with than TPTB/actors/whatever did.

(Also, because I'm watching the Masterpiece Theater versions via the almighty Amazon, I haven't seen the pilot episodes, and the first 2 1/2 seasons are the 120-minute versions. I'm probably going to hunt down the pilot, but I welcome input from anyone with knowledge of the situation to tell me whether I want to rewatch the unedited versions of the episodes I've seen. I tried a quick Google to see what content they cut out, but I didn't find an answer that was either useful or satisfying.)

I do have a few things bookmarked with the note "If I ever watch Lewis..." so I'll probably check those out, at a minimum.
