Okay, so I can tell you that I really hated last week's episode of Teen Wolf, and now I'm trying to decide whether it even needed to exist. I don't remember what the point was, assuming there was one, and didn't care much for the events.

This episode, I actually liked!

I continue to be unable to suspend my belief and see Allison as a high school student this season. Perhaps because "school can wait." REALLY, CHRIS ARGENT? REALLY?

I don't enjoy this Scott/Allison/Isaac triangle, because I'm sure it isn't going to end the way it would in fic. Also, really wanted this season to be Allison's "sorry I shot everyone" redemption, and this isn't helping.

I appreciate them clearing up this Aiden/Lydia thing, sort of.

Derek's stubble is looking awfully beardy in this heartfelt reunion scene.

Is this when she gets tragically killed? Philosophers? Derek promised she's safe, so that can't end well.

I hated the #stillinskifeels tag onscreen last week. Truly.

True Alpha. yawn.

I do legitimately enjoy the classroom scenes when the school subject matter is totally unveiled foreshadowing.

Chess!

Hahahaha chess. Stiles <3. Wait. Argh! If Stillinski doesn't believe Stiles by the end of the episode, I'm gonna be pissed.

Did that Ice Breakers placement before the recital make anyone else think WRONG TWIN, DANNY NOOOOO? I'm glad he didn't get poisoned or otherwise murdered, is my point. I might prefer
last week's Reeses's hamhandedness. Bring back Stiles's Macy's shopping spree.

Awww, Scott and Lydia are darach-fighting BFFs

Wait, how did Ms. Blake get hospitalized? It's sad that I'm so disengaged from this show that I honestly could have missed a scene. I'm basically just mining this show to be able to follow and/or judge fic references at this point. Like Stiles playing the Mom card in trying to get his dad to listen believe.

I'm going to rewatch the hell out of those Stillinski scenes.

Oh, and speaking of father son relationships, on a tangent of being emotionally tone deaf, Isaac's line about his father advising to look at the whole picture or whatever. I'm sure their relationship was complicated, but that line either needed some borderline-sinister delivery that Daniel didn't give it, or it needed to be, like, something his uncle, or mother, or grandfather used to say.

Okay so this is clearly mindfuckery a la Tara seeing her own corpse before she died.

Except, re:mindfuckery, what works in a two-hour movie is way too hard to keep track of over the season. Or possibly within a single episode.

Did the recital and the chant actually merge?

Okay there, dominatrix Barbie.

Do I need to go Wikipedia banshees?

I am wholeheartedly in favor of the sheriff getting kidnapped, but if he gets whacked, I am legit through with this show. You are no Joss Whedon, you haven't earned the right to kill off any characters, much less this one.
