I'm watching The Sing-Off, sort of. I'm on episode 2 and I keep pausing it to read things on the internet... haven't made it to the first group performance yet, but the video package was... cute? Hooray, singing. And my dad is a big fan of the show which is hilarious, because he really doesn't do TV except for football and news.

I am definitely in hibernation mode, wow.

Haha The Singoff! My wife forcibly made me turn it off. She cringes at a lot of my singey-dancey reality TV, but she could not actually handle The Singoff at all, AT ALL and cried at me until I turned it off. I have no idea why it's worse than The Voice or So You Think You Can Dance, but apparently it is? I was enjoying it, anyway, I love a cappella voice groups.

Wow! I was failing at watching last night - I think it took me about 4 hours to watch 2 1/2 hours of broadcast - but it is very much my favorite competition showand it almost always avoids the problems I have with other shows - bad performances and cringe-worthy judging. I also really love Ben Folds, so I'd probably put up with a lot for his sake, as well.

It's only a couple weeks, and then she'll be free from the trauma of a capella on television for another year :)
