I watched the opening few minutes of the first episode, and Manic Pixie Doctor isn't that far off. I'll watch the entire episode when I get around to it (time, you know), but it felt like the show might go to the romanticising-mental-illness place.

Yeah, the one review I read yesterday seemed to say that she spends a lot of time off her meds, which I guess she would have to for the show they seem to be making. I'm trying to wait until I have the block of time and motivation to watch at least the first two episodes, in case the premiere is just generally awful and pilot-y. Thanks!
