I just found a page full of notes plotting out some story, Four Weddings and a Funeral-style, that on reflection may be from the year wrote Valentines Day Sean/Holden for Yuletide, and I don't appear to have used a single one of the ideas in the actual fic.

Also several pages of draft thoughts about the grant process I eventually designed, before my boss decided giving money to programs was stupid. I do not miss that job.

Also a page of notes on a website redesign that starts with "no girly purples" and I have no idea if that was my thought or if it belonged to whoever I was working with. Presumably the manly purples were acceptable.

I've got Death Comes to Pemberly on in the background, and as a result of reading this post I now have a strong urge to write a ficlet that somewhere includes the phrase "manly purples."

I wonder if it will pass?

Ha, what even would a period-appropriate manly purple be, though? Aubergine? A nice puce? Better left unspecified, probably.

Whatever period that "Peacock-ery" was celebrated, I'd think? *grins*
