I've read some really confusing third-person omniscient stories lately. Now, I have never taken a creative writing class in my life, but I'm having a hard time imagining it working well without an actual narrator, and, like, a narrative voice that's identifiable.

And on a fun tangent, I have the sudden desire to write something as a fairy-tale pastiche and narrate the bejeesus out of it.
