I'm about to go and subscribe to a bunch of people whose interests are similar to mine based on the list generated by http://www.dreamwidth.org/interests.bml - and will probably do so a few more times before and maybe after launch.

So, people who stopped by wondering who their new subscriber is, I probably haven't read any of the back posts in your journal. I'm just taking advantage of the lull on my reading list to poke around. (I assume I will eventually weed people out, as well. It's not you, it's me.)

I really need to start working on getting some content into the communities so there is something to build from, but I feel overwhelmed every time I think about it. :-( I meant to try to do it before Open Beta, but that's not going to happen for sure. Oh well, I'll do what I can when I can.

Yes, that was me. On all 4 of the communities. :-) Yes, if you are interested that would be WONDERFUL!! Which of the communities do you want to work on? I'll give you maintainer access so you can add tags as well as use existing ones. We just want to keep with the existing convention, I thought about going ahead and copying all the tags over but until there is some content to go with the tags I figured it would just annoy people. :-(

I don't know Magnificent Seven from a hole in the wall, and haven't ever been in West Wing fandom, but either NCIS or The Sentinel would be fine to start with.

Maybe NCIS first, as it's still on the air and there might be more new(er) fans wandering around DW. It might be nice to get something put together and use that to anchor another pimp post to dw_community_promo?

On the fannish front my LJ may be a bit quiet at the moment (hiatus season) so there's a lot of RL babble I only flock stuff whicah I need massively to vent abotu which tends to be work!

My fic lives over at my writing journal (http://rurics-den.dreamwidth.org/) same name on LJ and everything should be imported thanks to the handy dandy importer tool. All the fic is tagged so it should be *relatively* easy to find anything that matches your interests and most of it is short (we're talking under 2000 words here)!

Feel free to poke around in both journal's and it goes to say - defriending (or should that be de-circling over here?!) amnesty should you decide we're not a good fit.
