I don't really have a reason to access-lock anything I post. However, I've decided that I'm going to try to keep my kvetching behind closed doors, so that people who browse by from a community or whatnot and subscribe don't have to listen to me whine.

(People who really just want to hear me bitch about job hunting and whether I'm annoyed at life or the lady who drove her Hummer to Whole Foods and how I hate my future boss/coworkers/boyfriends, sorry, you're going to be stuck with the fic and random youtube videos and stories about my cat!)

To that end, I'm going to grant access to anyone who automatically granted me access, and not to the people who have only subscribed. If anyone has only subscribed and wants access to my hypothetical future complaining, you're welcome to it. I don't have any expectation of reciprocity. Continue to subscribe, or not, grant access, or not, as you wish.

I feel like I waste a lot of time on the internet. I have a friend who wastes at least as much time on the internet as I do, but most of it's in places like the Something Awful forums, and he is forever linking stuff to me - I think that's my recent favorite.
