You ever have one of those days where you decide you hate present tense, and go and revise 10,000 words into past tense, and then you run into a paragraph that stubbornly refuses to be tense-changed or otherwise reworded, and maybe present tense isn't so bad after all, and you still have the original version, but you changed other things too, and you really don't want to fix it all, even with the handy-dandy revision history? Okay, maybe not a day precisely like that, but you know...
