I bought a pretty dress today. And then came home and spent 20 minutes ripping seams out to make it into a pretty skirt that I like much better. Actually, bought two pretty dresses, but the second one only required moving the straps, so it remains a dress.

In getting ready to do laundry, I realized that somehow rather than picking up a skirt one size smaller than what I'd tried on a couple days ago, I picked up one size larger, which is not at all acceptable. However, the shirt that I bought on a whim today matches the wrong-sized skirt, so now it's vitally important *cough* that I be able to exchange it for one in the right size in the same color rather than returning it.

I feel like half my wardrobe is skirts now, which seems very odd. Up until a couple years ago, I typically went months at a time without wearing a skirt or a dress.

I'm waaaaaay behind on Dollhouse and The Unusuals. Spent a bunch of time yesterday rewatching episodes of Firefly and Serenity so that I can flesh out plotbunnies with appropriate-sounding (typed that "appropirate" the first time...) dialogue.

I honestly don't remember the last time I wore a dress/skirt. Maybe my sister's wedding a few years ago? Which is strange, because I do like them.

"appropirate"
;D

You are a sewing machine. (Oh, that was awful.) Seriously, though - I think I wear the same five outfits every week. No clothing creativity whatsoever. :(

Now I want to rewatch some Firefly. Particularly the one where Jayne has his own town.

Well, it was kind of a bad bad-joke, so I guess that lets your radar off the hook. *g*

Switching up the 5 things is a good plan. I should get a couple more outfits to try that! (That "one at a time" bit cracked me up. Reminds me of the episode of Friends where Joey puts on all of Chandler's clothes. Oh, tv. How I love it.)
