ETA: Jeanine is my faaaaavorite (and she didn't fall out of her pirouette during her solo for the first time this season. good timing, hon.) And Nigel is creepy, bless him. I'd be happy with Brandon or Kayla. I think there might be rioting in the streets if Evan wins. Or if he loses. Wow. That chanting! Also, Ryan in a tux. How precious is he?

Judging by the girls using exclamation marks on Twitter, Evan might have a real shot. The judges just riled them up. And continuing a trend for me, tonight was the first time I got his appeal. No, he's not the bestest dancer. But it's like I always think about Idol - if it was just about singing, they could hold it on the radio.

I actually really enjoy the fact that Evan's aw-shucks-ness and work ethic are setting people's hearts aflutter, except then I remember how popular the Jonas Brothers are, and and it makes me miss the days when all the teen girls I knew were hopelessly in love with bad boys. I'm so, so out of touch.
