healingmirthIt is gray and cold and boring out, so I finally caught up with last week's SYTYCD Canada finale. In honor of that:

Also, I can't remember who was commenting about Nigel saying that they couldn't teach tap. Yeah, about that. They teach tap to 5 year olds. It's about having rhythym. It can't possibly be more intricate than Bollywood.
SYTYCD Canada had a tapper this past season, and one of the choreographers incorporated some tap into his theater piece the week he got Everett and his partner. I really, really wish that the US producers would take a lesson from whatever Canada did, and quit it with the obnoxious super-loud mics on the shoes. Yes, I'm going to complain about that, and about the asleep-at-the-switch soundboard guy, every week. Sorry.
