I really shouldn't be one throwing stones about originality, but they're making another Robin Hood movie? Seriously? I'm assuming that there are still writers out there working on original screenplays, and they can start making movies out of those any day now.

Did you ever see the list that showed that majority of the biggest gross sellers in the movies were all sequels and remakes? That was kind of sad.

There have been a ton of Robin Hood movies. Who is attached to this one? I knew about the Russel Crowe one but I thought that one was put on hold.

It's the Russel Crowe/Cate Blanchett one. I guess it was delayed and being reworked for quite a while, but they seem to have shot it last summmer? I just stumbled across it while looking up something else on IMDB.

That one has gone through some issues. I read somewhere that this one was supposed to be more based off of the Sheriff of Nottingham or something, and then there were issues with Crowe's size, like execs were telling him he had to be smaller to lead the movie.

Robin Hood has been done so much, and while I do really enjoy Blanchett's work, I'm not so excited to see this one.
