Hey my brain said. I know you've been poking at this other story for two weeks, but what say you write a completely new one 7 hours before the deadline and try to get it beta'd and posted?

I need to not listen to my brain.

So, I haven't run any of the 6 errands I was going to run today, which means the windows in the condo will continue to let masses of heat out for another day.

However! I answered some support requests for the first time in over a week while I was procrastinating in the midst of my Bad Idea.

*ETA* and while I'm aflail, I am browsing celebrity tweets from people I really don't care about, and find a retweet about a band I've never heard of, because I am Not Cool, and the second song on their myspace is a cover of Semi-Charmed Kind of Life, which I have fond memories of inapporpriate people singing in college. So. \o/ or something.

Thought: What would an appropriate aflail emoticon be?

or is that, like, drowning? Actually, drowning is not a bad match for aflail.
