Could you describe the ruckus, sir?

It makes me happy to hear David Cook's music on the radio. Because I like the songs, yes, but mostly because I'm happy that he's successful, like I know him or something. I need to have a talk with myself about boundaries or something.

Apparently Nick Cannon (the kid from Drumline and Wild 'n' out on MTV, and presumably other things) and Mariah Carey are married.


"Family member" Linda Cannon was quoted, saying, "Yes, we know. He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him,"


I think I speak for everyone who's watched the path her life has taken since the '90's when I say... Actually, I have no words. He seems normal enough; maybe this'll be good for her. Even though he's 10 years younger, I have a feeling he's the mature one in the relationship.

Are people unclear on the concept of what an apostrophe does? Why in the world would anyone even write rock'in instead of rockin'? And post it that way on a billboard advertisement that thousands of people see every day? The same goes for all you people who think it's spelled ya'll.

I really hope I spelled something wrong here; I'm running low on irony.
