Filed under OMG ridiculous, but I love this news for so many reasons: Harvey Fierstein Is Librettist for Newsies Musical, With Songs by Menken and Feldman. I would watch the face off a stage adaptation of Newsies. I'm not even going to pretend I wouldn't.

I think the New York Times may have changed when they require registration to view articles, because these all came up pages asking me to log in. Still gonna link 'em, though.

I believe that NYT signing in issue is tied to how many articles your NYT cookies say you have viewed. I used to get it fairly frequently when I was only sporadically wiping cookies but now that my cookies are wiped at the end of each browsing session, I never do. I could be wrong though.
