So, I've never watched Angel, and so pretty much everything I know about Christian Kane comes from Supernatural RPF. So watching the first episode of Leverage was odd, because I really like his character, and I'm curious as to whether that's because I have this (fictional!) image in my head of him being a good guy.

Tangentially, I'd be fascinated to see two different casts and two different directors (well-respected people, not just whoever they could find to run the experiment) work with the same script, and see what they come up with. Obviously that happens all the time in theater, with restaging and remakes, but I'd love to find out what happens when they're working from the same source material, but developing two versions concurrently, so one vision doesn't influence the other.

Anyway, Leverage, yeah, good stuff. I think the last new show I watched on TNT was that one with the EMT. I have no idea what happened to that, but I feel like it ended on a cliffhanger? Maybe I dreamed that part. I think I heard Leverage compared to Ocean's 11, which seems accurate insofar as if you enjoy those movies you'd enjoy this, but I'm hoping that as the show goes on there will continue to be good character development rather than narrowing in to heist-of-the-week hijinks.
