healingmirthSo, episode meta, blah blah blah whatever. I was over at a friend's apartment at 10pm, and caught the first couple of minutes which, frankly, looked boring, and she hadn't seen the first 4 eps so we watched The Office on TBS (Casino Night! Omgz!) instead. And then I totally hauled ass to get home before midnight for the Leverage rebroadcast.
OH MY GOD ELIOT! For serious.
So, I was not 100% on board with the horse farm backstory, but whatever. It works, and I'm a big fan of Eliot, regardless. And then he charged up past the deputy or whatever TO RESCUE NATE who is clearly his ONE TRU LUV. Or not. I am not picky, because that's solid gold loyalty right there, and that just played right into everything I hold dear. I don't even need slash. I would watch/read about them being friends all freaking day long. Or Eliot rescuing anyone, really. Like I said, I'm not picky. More Eliot plz. Am also very much a fan of Parker in this episode, which is new for me.
It loses something in translation without the ass-kicking, but I think "What smells like crank and screams like a girl?" is my favorite moment this week. "Well, ma'am, we'd be the cavalry" is a close second, but only because it's not original. *swoons*
